Well, it took longer than I thought, but I am FINALLY finished. I think it turned out wonderful (except I need to fix that dropped stitch I found last night).

Well, I can't say I'm 100% pleased with how this turned out - but only because I thought it would be BIGGER.  Its my fault, I didn't take in account the differences between the yarn in the pattern and the yarn I used and how that would affect the size.  So while I did knit it bigger that the original pattern, it came out smaller because the yarn I ( Read more... )

Once a knitter starts using Nice yarns (i.e yarns that cost money and you can't find at big box stores) it becomes more and more difficult to resist knitting things for people in nice yarns.  Its a knitting conundrum.  And that is where I am at.
